Verification built for how you actually pay people.
Traditional providers treat every employer the same. Schools aren't every employer. Here's what that gap costs you — and how Verifent closes it.

Most verification providers hand over full PII. We don't.
When a lender, landlord, or background check company requests a verification through a traditional provider, they're typically handed full personally identifiable information — Social Security numbers, dates of birth, complete salary history — not just a confirmation of employment and income. That data doesn't stay with the requester. Many legacy verification platforms are run by companies whose broader business model includes licensing consumer data to third parties, which means your employees' PII can end up circulating well beyond the original request.
It's not a hypothetical risk, either: consumer data and credit-reporting companies — the same category of company that operates much of the verification industry — have been responsible for some of the largest data breaches in U.S. history. Centralizing your district's employee data with a provider whose core business is data aggregation multiplies that exposure.
Verifent was built differently: we don't sell your employees' data, we don't license it to third parties, and we don't retain more than a specific, authorized verification requires.
"We chose Verifent over other companies because Verifent does not store our data or use it in any other way."
Everyone wants your data. We want your privacy.
10-month contracts. Coaching stipends. Extra-duty pay. Most providers don't see any of it.
Standard verification platforms are built around a simple model: one job, one steady paycheck, twelve months a year. That's not how education compensation works. Teachers are often on 10-month contracts. Coaches, sponsors, and extra-duty staff are paid in stipends layered on top of base salary. A verification that doesn't understand that structure doesn't just look sloppy — it can misrepresent income to a lender or another district, creating real problems for the employee on the other end.
Verifent was built inside education, for education. Our verifications account for 10- vs. 12-month pay schedules, stipends, and supplemental pay as a matter of course — not as an edge case someone has to manually correct.

Two different questions. Most platforms only answer one.
A Verification of Employment (VOE) answers a lender's or landlord's question: does this person work here, and what do they make? An Experience Verification (EV) answers a different question entirely: when one district hires an educator away from another, HR needs to confirm years of service, role history, and credentialing — the record that determines salary placement and step credit in the new district.
General-purpose verification providers are built for VOE. They have no product for district-to-district EV.
Verifent built DashHire specifically for this. It's the difference between confirming someone has a job and confirming someone's professional history is accurate enough to set their pay in a new district.
