About Verifent

Built by people who know education from the inside.

We didn't set out to build another verification company. We set out to fix a problem we'd seen up close — one that generic tools were never going to solve.

Our origin

A simple observation, and a gap nobody else was closing.

Verifent started with a simple observation: the people verifying employment, experience, and eligibility in schools were doing it with tools built for someone else. Databases built for corporate HR. Reference checks built for any industry. Compliance processes stitched together with email, fax, and good intentions.

None of it was built with a school district's actual reality in mind — substitute teachers, mid-year hires, staff moving between districts, the specific disclosures K-12 and higher ed are required to make. So we built the infrastructure education actually needed, instead of asking schools to keep adapting to tools that weren't built for them.

That's still the whole mission. Every product we build starts with the same question: what does a school actually need here, and how does it really move through a district? Not what worked somewhere else and got relabeled for education.

Data privacy was at the center of that decision from the start. We never wanted to hold data we didn't need, access information that wasn't ours, or ask districts to hand over more than the situation required. Verifent was built to verify what needs verifying — and to protect everything else.

What we stand for

Our guiding principles

Inspiring Vision

Build What Matters

We don't build features because they're easy or trendy — we build them because a school, district, or employee actually needs them. Every roadmap decision starts with a real problem in education, not a hypothetical one borrowed from another industry. For our clients, it means the product in front of you was designed around your actual day.

Innovating Ways

Grow Relentlessly

Verification in education has run on the same manual processes for decades — email, fax, phone tag. We treat that as a standing invitation to improve. JobSync, DashHire, and QualiFi keep evolving as long as there's a slower, older way still burdening HR teams — so the tool you're using today keeps getting better without you having to ask for it.

Others First

People First. Always.

Every verification request represents a person — a teacher waiting on a mortgage approval, a district protecting its students, an employee making sense of a loan forgiveness form. We design with empathy for the person on the other end of every request, not just the institution paying the invoice.

Integrity

Own the Outcome

Verification only matters if it's accurate, and accountability only matters if you don't pass the buck when something goes wrong. We take responsibility for our data, our process, and our mistakes. If something doesn't go right, we own it and we fix it.

Empowered Team

Win Together

No one at Verifent works in a silo, and no client's success belongs to just one team. We give our people the trust and autonomy to solve problems directly — and treat your district's win as our win too.

Our team

A team that shows up.

Every person on the Verifent team believes schools deserve better infrastructure than they've been given. That shows up in how we support you — US-based, responsive, and genuinely invested in getting your district unstuck, not just closing a ticket.
